Shift

With this piece I wanted to show some movement, manipulating it a bit and bring in another dimension to the eye. This was possibly the most demanding painting so far since I needed the paint to be wet so I could fluff the lines together. This needed to be finished in one sitting, taking all day but I'm really happy with the final result. Love the movement and how the colours work. At 150cm x 100cm it looks great on any wall. $1200

Rhubicks Cucumber

A few years ago I did something similar and much smaller with a white back drop but have always wanted to try it with a deep purple to see how the colours would react. After many hours I'm very pleased with the results and love it's craziness. At 152cm x 101cm and 400 squares this piece really is a stand out and just pulsates with energy. All in oils the gloss finish brings in another dimension of depth... $1200

Federation Square

The biggest piece yet is with strong influence from my favourite artist "Mondrian". At 213cm x 111cm it's certainly aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Mainly colour blocking all in oils with a wave bringing in a whole new element. It has so much character and even sexiness. Currently showing at Soto Restaurant on Malvern Road it's turned into quite the talking piece... $2000

Eclipse

Eclipse has a striking coral sponged backdrop and the warm rustic colour blocking really makes this piece jump out at u. The black painted lines have been highlighted with light blue so everything really pops with deep colour. The curves and lines makes it unpredictable and gives it a real flow, your eyes follow the whole canvas. Really brings warmth to a room. At 112cm x 92cm this piece is going for $1000

Cascade

I really love working with a canvas this size and shape. It's 183cm x 60cm and makes u feel u could just keep going. The mix of oils, predominately a deep blue and green make this a great piece for above the lounge. At this size and shape it will take over any wall without dominating the room. Having to complete in one sitting so the paint remained wet and moveable I fluffed and manipulated in 2 directions only. With every dry stroke gave it more character. Not needing a frame at all this one of a kind piece is $900

Hysteria

Hysteria is a feature piece on show at Soto Restaurant, 517 Malvern Rd, Toorak. At 150cm x 100cm it brings alot of attention and boldly jumps off the wall. Using a gloss black swirl containing the loud acrylics it controls and keeps the piece with a good balance. $1200... Sorry the shot is a little out of focus. The next pic shows more detail.

Candy

154cm x57cm this long colourful piece looks great in a hall way or above the couch. With a black acrylic background and gloss enamel stripes I was using a dripping technique. Pleased with the result it sold in no time. (SOLD)

Electric Tiles

Electric tiles is now in a black bow frame which just pops the colour out of the pastels. I used a gel medium with acrylic and a spatula to give it a sense of weight and depth. At 91cm x 61cm it doesn't need a big wall but certainly opens it up the room. $800

In Focus

122cm x 91cm this piece is now mounted in a box frame and hanging in Soto. The fluffing technique goes in contrast to the sharp window of colour. Having a time period to get this done I needed to do this long stint so it was still wet enabling me to stretch and move the colour.$1000

Music

One of my first paintings it was the hardest to let go. At 140cm x 60cm it's hanging in someones hallway. It looks like I was almost in a hurry but totally enjoyed it. Enamel and acrylics. (SOLD)

Yarn

Yarn seems to be a bit of a talking piece when hung and I can see why. It's 90cm x 90cm with no need for framing as I think some paintings don't need to be contained. She speaks for herself. A few artist friends convinced me to do a series of different shades of certain colours. In enamel there's this original then the blue, grey and green, which unfortunately I can't find the photo of. Together they look amazing and even alone they're complexity keeps u staring. Hanging in Soto Restaurant, 517 Malvern Rd, Toorak, they are definitely worth a viewing. $700 ea

Yarn in blue

90cm x 90cm... $700

Yarn in grey

90cm x90cm... $700

Mosaic

This bright little number is now in a white box frame and in the window of a store called "Do Re Me". 27 Horne St in Elsternwick. At 90cm x 60cm it's a bit smaller than I'm used to working with but because of the masking technique and drying time it took weeks. I love the way it jumps out at you and almost is a vision of light. When I look at it I think holiday beach house...SOLD

Vision

This piece is quite big and would be great on a large wall. Since this photo I have mounted it in a white box frame and pleased with the rolls of colour forming an eye. The oils have left it with a gloss finish making primaries pop even more. At 150cm x 120cm making a bold eye catching statement in a spacious room. $1200... Currently hanging in SOTO restaurant 517 Malvern Rd, Hawksburn Village. (Toorak)

Kaleidoscope

I was in the mood to do something loose and free flowing. Normally I'm pretty structured and know where I'm going with a piece so it was nice to let go and play round with the oils for a bit. See where it would go. This technique is called fluffing giving the blurry effect. It's 90cm x 90cm, I have now set it in a box frame and hanging in a house in Elwood. For $550 I can do something completely different sticking to the bright and blur concept. (SOLD)

Erik of Warhol

This piece was part of my art course. We had to do a stencil of a friends profile so I did this of my boyfriend. From the beginning he thought it was a funny subject til he saw the final product. It turned out to be alot more of likeness than he thought so being the shy guy he is he finds it hard to look at it. I love it so it's hanging in my studio. Can do something similar if u like.

Sara of Warhol

This was a birthday present I did for a girlfriend of mine. Took forever to do but I really enjoyed it. Was pleased with the final result and keen to do another. If u have a photo of someone u would like me to Warhol I would be more than happy to... $ 400
